CAMPUS

ECOCHALLENGE

Starting January 2017

2017 NWEI

ECOCHALLENGE

October 11-25

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Campus EcoChallenge will launch for the 2017 spring semester. The challenges and actions will be relevant for students living on or off campus — we will eliminate actions like installing solar panels and focus on classroom, dorm, and campus-related actions. The imagery and messaging for the event will be student-specific. The event time period will be flexible, and each team will have the ability to decide the length of their EcoChallenge (your campus could decide to run the EcoChallenge for 1 week, 1 month, 1 semester, etc.) The Campus EcoChallenge can be offered in conjunction with our courses books or as a stand-alone activity.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Save the date for the 2017 NWEI EcoChallenge! October 11 – 25, 2017 we challenge you to take on to choose one new action to reduce your impact and stick with it for two weeks. You pick your Challenge, set a goal that stretches your comfort zone and take action to make a difference for you, your community and the planet. Our October EcoChallenge is free and open to everyone, everywhere.
