about ecochallenge.org
We connect the dots between individual action and collective impact to create global change on a human scale.
We connect the dots between individual action and collective impact to create global change on a human scale.
Since 1993, Ecochallengers far and wide from different walks of life have come together to take action for a better shared world.
We know a better shared future can only exist when we hold in earnest all inhabitants on this dot we call home. Our justice mission includes three main components:
As we work to recognize historical injustices and honor the differences that make us human, we acknowledge that each of us has a role to play, and embrace ongoing learning and collaboration opportunities. We know that centering equity and justice is a journey and seek to connect with fellow travelers as we work to create a world that provides a healthy, safe environment, thriving communities, and equality for all.
Our solutions-focused programs have engaged over 300,000 individuals and 4,500 organizations worldwide since our original founding as Northwest Earth Institute in 1993.
Each connected dot provides a launchpad for sustainability leaders, emerging generations, and other agents of change. Ecochallenge.org is proud to carry forward the legacy set by the Northwest Earth Institute Founders, Dick and Jeanne Roy, and the countless volunteers and leaders who have tended the fire over the years.
