"I loved this challenge! It really opened my eyes to the different types of food waste and the different ways that small changes can have a big impact on the environment. I was inspired to start recycling plastics and positively impacted my carbon footprint with lowering the thermostat, turning off lights and driving less miles."
— Shari
"The EcoChallenge provides tools and inspiration to turn intention into action and gives us a fun and social way to make commitments that create a difference for not only the Malaysian community but also the planet."
— Sharifah
"Love the food composting. I'm finally getting all the possible items composted, thanks to using some of my Liberty shine points to buy a useful compost system."
— Mick
"I felt energized talking to members of my community. I learned information from others that I was searching for in vain on the internet related to transportation and then other people are a wealth of knowledge and it's a waste not to interact."
— Bridgette
"I had an opportunity to be in the office yesterday with many others from our department. I was more aware of sitting with people who I don't normally interact with on a daily basis and was encouraged to introduce myself to others as a result of this challenge!"
— Brook
"I appreciate that there is a challenge like this to help use each be more aware"
— Jamila
"It has been amazing since conducting a personal waste audit at home how it has changed my way of shopping. I am not looking at items and materials when buying them to see if these products are recyclable or made from recyclable material. Looking for products that don't come with packaging as well so that I am not having to throw out much packaging. This has really changed my mind set on waste in general."
— Annmarie
"My kids are even having fun with a light challenge at home, making sure all the lights are off and earning a treat if they turn off a light if someone forgot to. Will definitely keep this going"
