ABOUT EARTH MONTH ECOCHALLENGE
For the month of April 2023, we put the SDGs into action to create substantial positive impact. Together, we build a sustainable world and a healthy planet. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a commitment to achieving sustainable development across three dimensions — environmental, social and economic — in an inclusive and integrated way.

"I'm very excited about this challenge. For years I've been trying to make small changes in my day-to-day life. One little thing I do is I always use cloth napkins. This reduces trash coming form my home and I throw them in with my dirty clothes."
— Jill
"Keep growing keep sharing. Sharing is caring because it remove selfishness, promotes better, equal and sustained use of limited resources! We are social humans but in todays world it is becoming easy to get trapped in the stigma of living in silos. Let's work on this."
— Mayank

"What I love about Ecochallenges is that they encourage you to think creatively and critically about your habits and lifestyle choices. They also provide a sense of community, as you can connect with others who are also committed to making a positive impact on the environment. It also gives me a feeling of empowerment to make changes in my own life that contribute to a more sustainable future for all!"
— Jo-a
"What I learned was the importance of an individuals actions, every single action we take could result in some kind of impact for the planet. We need to do our part to ensure that those actions result in a positive impact rather than a negative one."
— Brady

— Akanksha
"During the Earth Month, I planted a tree, saved water, tried a vegan dish and reduced my carbon footprint. I made sure that my actions contribute to conserve precious resources and mitigate the impacts of climate change."

"From this challenge I have come to realize how each of us can together can a make a big impact on the effects of climate change to our home Earth. Each one of us can do the simplest of actions that together we would make big changes in what companies produce and how we consume. Some of these simple efforts could be bringing a mug to use for coffee at work rather than the paper cups provided. Buying lunchboxes rather than relying on paper bags. Using dish cloths or rags to clean up messes instead of paper towels or wipes. Bringing reusable grocery bags to the store rather than taking plastic bags home. If we all did these things the demand for these products would go down and there would be less production of them. Obviously this would make changes to factors leading to climate change. It really does take us all getting more conscious about our actions and how they effect our world."
