reflections

"I'm excited for the Plastic Free Ecochallenge and to build more plastic-free habits that make a real difference! As a parent, I feel a sense of responsibility to model sustainable behavior for my kiddo. While they may seem like small steps, they all add up!"

— Audrey

"Hi all! I'm here to try a little harder... again... I feel like I'm making progress and small changes and then life gets hectic crazy and I compromise my values or allow others in my household to do so... I had previously removed all single use plastic from our kitchen, but its crept back in! Using this challenge to get back on track & hopefully inspire my family members (5 others) to stick with it :)"

— Kulia

"repaired my tower fan, took a lot of disassembly to fix, but eventually fixed it and it works perfectly again :D"

— Joseph

"I have started to replace using all zip lock bags with reusable items especially for camping and overlanding the less trash we make the better on the trips not only for us but our planet as well and other who share this world with us."

— Katherine

"I've been in a rut and sad to see so many people in our community complaining about litter and dog poop. This challenge was just what I needed to provide that extra motivational push to not complain, just take action and pickup the litter, scoop the poop and dispose of properly. Seeing a clean neighborhood feels nice and there isn't nearly as much complaining from our neighbors. win-win"

— Kimberly

"So excited for the start of PFE! This is my 4th year participating & I am stoked to learn more about reducing my plastic intake with y'all!"
